Our canvas prints come in two options. Classic, or Tasmanian Oak Floating framed. Our stretcher frames are a quality Aussie sourced kiln dried timber, cut by hand in our studio and can be made to any custom size. They are approx 3.3cm thick. To make sure they are durable and strong, support beams are added free of charge to larger sizes. All our canvas prints come with a hanging solution built in and ready to go up on your wall.
Canvas prints are a great contemporary way to bring your space to life. They are a cost effective alternative to traditional framing. Stick on wall hooks can be used due to the lightweight of the canvases. This gives them the flexibility to be hung anywhere and are apartment friendly. All our canvases come mirror wrapped. So you will not lose any of the image in the wrap.
Classic Canvas
Printed using an Epson Surecolor S80600 using genuine Epson Ultra Chrome inks, you can be sure your artwork will not only display gorgeous print quality, but will be durable and resilient.
We print your artwork on a beautiful 310gsm premium poly/cotton satin canvas that has an abrasion resistant surface and a wide colour gamut to ensure your print looks stunning! It is hand stretched to perfection in house so that we can ensure it will not sag over time. The artwork is finished with a protective layer to guard against water, UV and dust.

Floating framed canvas
This is our classic canvas, but framed in our contemporary and eye catching Floating frame, for an extra touch of sophistication. They come in a choice of 4 colours so you will always have a colour option to suit your image.
Our frames are hand made and cut to size to accommodate custom sizes, so you are not limited to choosing from premade size options. We make them to suit you! A gap of a few mm is left between the canvas and the frame to give is a striking appearance of the artwork floating in the frame. The Oak frame is approx 4.5cm deep.
The frame will also add approx 2cm to the outside of your artwork. Don’t forget to account for this in your measurements! e.g if your selected print width is 100cm, then the final artwork will be around 104cm wide.

Take a look at the image below to compare our canvas (Left) vs another canvas shop (Right). Just because you can’t see the back of the canvas, doesn’t mean we skimp on quality! We use proper D rings, screwed in to the frame for the most durable and sturdy hanging system. This is far superior to the 2 staples used in the canvas on the right which may come loose over a few years. We even provide a soft pad on the bottom to prevent the frame from rubbing directly on the wall!

We provide plenty of packaging materials to avoid your order from being damaged in transit. However accidents happen and we understand how frustrating it is to receive a product that is damaged. If there are any problems with your print on arrival, please email us as soon as possible at info@customcanvas.com.au! We want your order to be perfect and are happy to help out in the rare cases that prints sustain damage during shipping.
Due to slight variations in colour display on different monitors and devices we can not guarantee that prints will appear exactly as you see on your screen.
Payment, turnaround time and shipping
We accept paypal or bank transfer at the checkout. Please note if you chose to bank transfer, we will start production on your artwork upon receiving payment which might take a few days depending on banks. (Most banks are now using Osko payments which are instant)
All of our prints are made in house when we receive your order. This includes any artwork from our pre made gallery. Please allow up to 7 business days for us to create your order depending on how busy we are. Don’t worry, we will let you know when we have shipped it!
We use standard courier shipping and can ship to anywhere in Australia. Shipping times will vary depending on the destination. Orders to major cities on the East Coast typically arrive within 5 business days of being dispatched.
