Description

Description

Dangars Gorge, just outside Armidale, is a big-sky lookout over a wild slice of the New England tablelands where the land suddenly drops away into a steep, rocky valley. From the main viewing platform you can see the gorge walls folding into the distance, and after good rain you’ll spot Dangars Falls spilling down into the shadows below. It’s a great stop on the Waterfall Way, or when visiting Armidale. There are a number of lookouts or varying distance, all with great views.
