North Queensland – Cannabullen Falls Cliff

Description

One of the most fun and adventurous hikes near Cairns. The little known Cannabullen Falls is wild and remote. This smaller falls sits upstream of Cannabullen Falls and is a great scramble up the river to explore the area. The track to Cannabullen Falls is 14km return and this will put you at the top of the main waterfall. (You will need a drone to get a good look at Cannabullen Falls unless you hike to the bottom) If you want to hike down to the base you can expect a long steep bush bash. This is not a polished lookout waterfall. It’s remote, physical, and rewarding. A print that speaks to exploration, effort, and the untamed side of Queensland landscapes.
