One of the most underrated lookouts in Lamington is Pat’s Bluff, one of the most dramatic lookouts. Sheer cliffs drop away into forested valleys below, revealing layered escarpments carved from ancient volcanic rock. Soft light moves across the ridgelines as cloud builds and breaks along the plateau edge. The scale here is immense. Dense subtropical rainforest blankets the slopes, while distant farmland and valleys hint at the land opening up beyond the range. Pat’s Bluff sits high on the Lamington Plateau, within the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia. A perfect spot to sit and enjoy the view.
