Illawarra Coast – Kiama Coastal Walk

Description

The stretch from Kiama down to Gerringong is a stunning bit of coast. Black basalt rock shelves, bright little beaches, rolling green dairy country just inland. You can also see whales just off shore at the right time of year. The hero here is the Kiama Coast Walk, an ocean-hugging trail that runs all the way from Minnamurra River to Werri Beach (Gerringong) at about 20 km one-way.
