Description
Hamelin Bay is one of the Margaret River region’s most loved coastal stops — a long sweep of pale sand and clear, turquoise water backed by low dunes and bushland, with a relaxed, low-key feel. It’s best known for the stingrays that often cruise the shallows near the old jetty/boat ramp, especially in the warmer months, making it a rare place where you can (respectfully) see marine life up close from the shoreline. The bay is also a great base for simple beach walks and quick swims on calmer days, and it sits right alongside the Cape to Cape Track for an easy add-on hike with big Indian Ocean views.
