Description
A fiery sunset over the Vancouver Peninsula in Albany. This headland separates calmer bays from the Southern Ocean and is home to great walking trails, lookouts and beaches. On the peninsula’s north-facing side, Whalers Cove (also called Fisheries Beach) is one of the local favourites: a tucked-away cove with clear water, granite edges, and a more protected aspect that can feel noticeably calmer than the open coast on a windy day.
