Description
Mackenzie Falls is a year-round waterfall in Grampians National Park, located near Zumsteins on the Mackenzie River. It is one of the largest and most reliable falls in the park, flowing over a broad rock ledge into a plunge pool within a steep-sided gorge. Access is via a sealed road to the car park, with short walking tracks and stair access to viewing areas and the base (note: the return walk from the base involves a long climb back up). Flow is typically strongest after winter rains and in spring, and lower during late summer and dry periods.
