Description
Palm Beach is a suburb at Sydney’s northern end on a narrow peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and Pittwater. It has an ocean-facing surf beach and a sheltered bay side used for swimming, kayaking and boating. Barrenjoey Lighthouse is on the headland at the northern tip and is reached via walking tracks. Palm Beach is widely known as the filming location for the fictional “Summer Bay” in the TV series Home and Away.
