Coral Coast – Coral Bay Underwater

Coral Bay is one of those WA spots that feels like someone turned the saturation slider up in real life. The water is ridiculously clear, with visibility so good you can often see the reef structure beneath you without even putting your head under. Sitting on the edge of Ningaloo Reef, it’s a marine-life playground: snorkel straight off the beach and you’ve got a real chance of drifting over coral gardens while reef fish flash past in little bursts of colour. Depending on the season, you might spot turtles cruising the shallows, rays gliding like underwater kites, and even bigger visitors out wider like whale sharks and humpbacks turning the area into a front-row seat for ocean wildlife.
