Description

Description

Wrights Lookout in New England National Park is a rewarding 3.4 km return walk that usually takes about 1–2 hours. The track climbs through cool rainforest and ferny pockets, then opens onto a rocky plateau with wide views over the escarpment and down toward the Bellinger River far below. The view feels wide and wild, with ridgelines fading into the distance and the light changing fast as clouds drift through. It’s one of the lesser visited lookouts, but can be combined with the cascade walk for a small detour.
