At sunrise in Dunkeld, the view north is breath-taking. Mount Abrupts peak is wrapped in a soft patch of cloud that catches the early light and glows a deep red. Beyond it, the rest of the northern Grampians stretch into the distance, their ridgelines slowly brightening as the sun climbs higher.
