Katoomba Falls drops from the edge of the escarpment into the Jamison Valley in a series of wide, white ribbons, with walking tracks and lookouts offering constantly changing views of the cascade. The water flows beneath the historic Katoomba Falls Kiosk and past Witches Leap before disappearing into the forest far below. It’s one of the most accessible and dramatic waterfalls in the Blue Mountains, especially after rain when the volume builds and the surrounding cliffs echo with the sound. At night, the falls are softly lit, giving the whole scene a calm, almost theatrical glow against the dark valley.
