Great Otway National Park is a cool, green world just inland from the Great Ocean Road. Dense rainforest, towering mountain ash, and winding fern-lined tracks hide some of Victoria’s most beautiful waterfalls. Beauchamp Falls is one of the tallest and most impressive waterfalls in the Great Otway National Park, dropping about 20 metres in a wide curtain into a cool, fern-filled gully below. The walk begins at the Beauchamp Falls car park near Beech Forest and follows a 3 km return track through towering mountain ash, tree ferns, and dense rainforest. The first section is fairly gentle before a steeper descent on the way in, which of course means a steady climb back out. Flow is usually strong through winter and spring after rain.
